The XT2520 is designed for projects where LED lighting needs to sit neatly within a surface rather than simply being mounted on top of it. With its substantial 23.7 × 19.7mm profile, this recessed aluminium extrusion creates a defined housing for LED strip lighting while keeping the finished installation clean and architectural.
Its deeper profile makes it particularly suited to designs where the extrusion is intended to become part of the surface itself, helping create a purposeful, built-in appearance rather than an added-on lighting detail.

Designed to disappear into the surface
The XT2520 has been specifically designed for recessed installation, allowing the profile to be incorporated into a suitable surface so that the aluminium body is largely concealed once installed. This makes it a great option when the aim is to create lighting that feels like an intentional part of the architecture.
The profile provides a 12mm lighting source width, giving you a dedicated space for compatible LED strip lighting. Once the strip and cover are installed, the result is a tidy linear lighting feature that can complement the surrounding design without overwhelming it.
A choice of cover options for your desired finish
The XT2520 is supplied with a polycarbonate cover measuring 12.4 × 5.2mm, with Diffused, Transparent and Opal options available.
This choice allows you to tailor the appearance of the finished profile to suit the project. A transparent cover can maintain a more direct view of the lighting source, while diffused or opal options can create a softer visual finish across the profile.
Designed for suitable indoor applications
The XT2520 has an IP20 rating, making it intended for appropriate dry indoor environments rather than exposed or wet locations. It is constructed from aluminium and is backed by a 3-year warranty and CE certification.
