The XT2908 is designed for projects where LED lighting needs to be integrated neatly into a surface. With its 29.6 × 8.5mm aluminium profile, this recessed extrusion provides a dedicated channel for LED strip lighting while keeping the finished installation clean, streamlined and unobtrusive.
Its slim profile makes it a practical choice when you want to incorporate linear lighting into a design without introducing a bulky fitting. Once installed, the extrusion can become a subtle part of the surface, allowing the lighting itself to take centre stage.

Designed for recessed installation
The XT2908 has been specifically designed to be recessed into surfaces, creating a more integrated appearance than a surface-mounted profile.
The extrusion provides an 18mm lighting source width, giving compatible LED strip lighting a generous channel within the aluminium body. This makes the profile suitable for applications where a wider LED strip needs to be accommodated while maintaining a relatively shallow overall profile.
Choose your cover for the finished look
The XT2908 uses a polycarbonate cover measuring 18 × 4.5mm, with Diffused, Transparent and Opal options available.
This choice allows you to select the appearance that best suits the lighting design. A transparent cover gives a more direct look, while diffused or opal options provide an alternative finish across the length of the profile.

The XT2908 is available in lengths between 0.5m and 3m, with custom lengths between these sizes fully achievable.
