The XT5208 is designed for projects where LED lighting needs to be incorporated neatly into a surface. With its wide 52.28 × 8.08mm aluminium profile, this recessed extrusion creates a distinctive, architectural finish while keeping the actual LED light source neatly integrated within the profile.
Its broad outer design makes the XT5208 particularly useful when you want the lighting to form part of a wider surface detail, creating a clean linear feature rather than a conventional surface-mounted fitting.

Built For Creative Lighting Projects
Designed to be recessed into surfaces
The XT5208 has been specifically designed for recessed installation, allowing the profile to sit neatly within a suitable surface.
Inside the profile is a 12mm lighting source width, providing a dedicated channel for compatible LED strip lighting. Despite its generous 52.28mm overall width, the profile is only 8.08mm high, giving it a wide yet relatively shallow appearance once installed.
Black, Silver or White
The XT5208 is available in Black, Silver and White, allowing the profile to complement the surrounding design or become a deliberate architectural feature.
Black can provide a stronger contrast, silver offers a classic aluminium appearance, while white provides a more understated option for lighter surfaces and interiors.
Complete the installation with matching accessories
The XT5208 uses polycarbonate end caps measuring 52.28 × 8.08mm. These are available in Grey, White and Silver, with options with or without a hole.
A stainless-steel mounting clip is also available as part of the accessory range.
These components provide the finishing touches for the profile, helping maintain a neat appearance at the ends while giving you the accessories needed to complete the installation.
