The XT6236S-II is designed for projects where LED lighting needs to be incorporated directly into a surface, creating a strong architectural feature with a clean, integrated finish. Measuring 62 × 36mm, this substantial aluminium extrusion provides a generous housing for LED strip lighting while allowing the profile to sit neatly within the surrounding surface.
With its wider and deeper construction, the XT6236S-II is well suited to designs where the lighting is intended to make a clear architectural statement while still maintaining the clean appearance of a recessed installation.

Designed to be recessed into surfaces
The XT6236S-II has been specifically designed for recessed installation, allowing the extrusion to be incorporated into a suitable surface rather than simply mounted on top of it.
The profile provides a 23.4mm lighting source width, giving compatible LED strip lighting a generous dedicated channel. With overall dimensions of 62 × 36mm, it creates a substantial linear lighting feature that can become an integral part of the surrounding design.
A generous lighting channel
With a 23.4mm lighting source width, the XT6236S-II offers more room for LED lighting than many of the slimmer profiles in the X-Trusion range.
The internal profile design creates a defined space for the lighting source, while the overall extrusion provides the structure required for a larger recessed installation. This makes it a useful option for projects where the lighting feature needs to have a stronger physical presence within the surface.
Black, Silver or White
The XT6236S-II is available in Black, Silver and White, allowing the profile to either complement its surroundings or become a deliberate part of the overall architectural design.
Black can create a stronger contrast, silver provides a classic aluminium appearance, while white offers a more understated option for lighter interiors.
