Its rugged metal housing, IP67/IP65 protection, and fanless construction make it suitable for both indoor and outdoor installations. It can operate with a case temperature from -40°C to +90°C under free-air convection, helping it handle challenging operating environments.

Selected versions also feature built-in potentiometers for adjusting output voltage and current.
The HLG-480H combines high output power with impressive efficiency, reaching up to 95.5% efficiency in field applications.
And because there's no fan inside, there's no fan noise or moving cooling parts to worry about. Heat is managed through the driver's rugged design and free-air convection.
The HLG-480H comes equipped with built-in protection features designed to help safeguard both the driver and connected LED system.
Protection includes:
- Over-current protection
- Over-voltage protection
- Over-temperature protection
- Short-circuit protection
The driver uses constant-current limiting for over-current and short-circuit conditions, with automatic recovery after the fault condition is removed. Over-voltage and over-temperature protection shut down the output and require re-powering to recover.
The HLG-100H accepts a wide 90–305VAC input, giving it the flexibility to work across a broad range of mains supplies.
It also incorporates active PFC (Power Factor Correction) and achieves a typical power factor of ≥0.95 at 230VAC at full load.
