When your LED installation needs a little more power without moving into a bulky driver, the MEAN WELL ELG-150 is a great fit. With up to 150W of output power, dual-mode constant voltage and constant current operation, and a rugged fanless design, it’s built to handle a wide range of demanding LED lighting applications.

With output options from 12V to 54V, flexible dimming and control options, IP65/IP67 protection and a wide operating temperature range, the ELG-150 gives you plenty of flexibility while keeping the installation compact.

The ELG-150 series provides up to 150W of LED power, with models available in 12V, 24V, 36V, 42V, 48V and 54V versions.

Its dual-mode design allows it to operate in either constant current mode for direct LED driving or constant voltage mode, giving you flexibility when matching the driver to your LED system.

Depending on the model, rated output power ranges from 84W to approximately 151W, with rated currents ranging from 2.8A to 10A.

Don't let the compact size fool you. The ELG-150 is designed to keep performing when conditions get demanding.

Its rugged metal housing, IP67/IP65 protection and fanless construction make it suitable for both indoor and outdoor installations. It can operate with a case temperature from -40°C to +90°C under free-air convection, helping it handle challenging operating environments.

Want more control over your lighting? Selected ELG-150 versions offer 3-in-1 dimming, supporting:

  • 0–10V DC
  • 10V PWM
  • Resistance

Selected A/AB-Type versions also allow the output voltage and current to be adjusted using a built-in potentiometer, giving you another way to fine-tune your installation.

The 3-in-1 dimming function also supports dim-to-off, with the output current capable of dropping to 0% under the specified dimming conditions.

The ELG-150 keeps things efficient, reaching up to 91% efficiency in field applications.

And because there's no fan inside, there are no moving cooling parts to worry about. Heat is managed through the driver's rugged design and free-air convection.

The series also features built-in active power-factor correction, helping support efficient operation across its wide input range.

The ELG-150 comes equipped with built-in protection features designed to help safeguard both the driver and connected LED system.

Protection includes:

  • Over-current protection
  • Over-voltage protection
  • Over-temperature protection
  • Short-circuit protection

Over-current protection uses constant-current limiting and automatically recovers once the fault condition is removed, while short-circuit protection operates in hiccup mode and also recovers automatically. Over-voltage and over-temperature protection shut down the output and require re-powering to recover.

The ELG-150 accepts a wide 100–305VAC input range (142–431VDC), making it suitable for a broad range of mains supplies.

It also delivers strong power-factor performance, with PF ≥0.97 at 115VAC, ≥0.95 at 230VAC and ≥0.92 at 277VAC at full load.

For applications where standby consumption matters, the series also offers less than 0.5W no-load/standby power consumption on the specified versions.

For customers who want to get into the numbers, the ELG-150 series is available in 12V, 24V, 36V, 42V, 48V and 54V output versions, with rated currents ranging from 2.8A to 10A, depending on model.

Rated output power varies by model, from 84W for the 12V version, through 105W for several models, up to approximately 150W for the higher-power configurations.

The driver measures approximately 219 × 63 × 35.5mm, giving you a compact package that is easy to integrate into a wide range of lighting installations.
