When your LED installation needs serious power without sacrificing flexibility, the MEAN WELL ELG-300 is ready to deliver. With up to 300W of output power, dual-mode constant voltage and constant current operation, and a rugged fanless design, it’s built for demanding LED lighting applications.
With output options including 12V and 24V models, high efficiency, IP67 protection and a wide operating temperature range, the ELG-300 gives you plenty of power and flexibility for everything from bay and flood lighting to stage and LED strip applications.
Need serious headroom for your LED installation? The ELG-300 delivers up to 300W of output power, with models designed for different LED voltage requirements.
Its dual-mode design allows it to operate in either constant current mode for direct LED driving or constant voltage mode, giving you greater flexibility when matching the driver to your LED system.
The ELG-300 is designed to keep performing when conditions get demanding.
Its rugged metal housing, IP67 protection and fanless construction make it suitable for both indoor and outdoor installations. The driver can operate with a case temperature of up to +85°C, while the specified operating temperature range extends down to -40°C under the relevant conditions.
Want more control over your lighting? Selected ELG-300 versions allow the output voltage and current to be adjusted using a built-in potentiometer, giving you a convenient way to fine-tune the driver to your LED system.
That makes the ELG-300 particularly useful where the exact output needs to be matched to the LED load rather than simply running at one fixed setting.
The datasheet specifically identifies the series for DMX control systems, making it a useful choice for applications where lighting output needs to be integrated into a wider lighting-control setup.
The ELG-300 comes equipped with built-in protection features designed to help safeguard both the driver and connected LED system.
Protection includes:
- Over-current protection
- Short-circuit protection
- Over-voltage protection
- Over-temperature protection
The driver uses constant-current limiting for fault protection and automatically recovers after the fault condition is removed where specified.
The ELG-300 accepts a wide 100–305VAC input range, with a corresponding 142–431VDC input range, making it suitable for a broad range of mains supplies.
It also incorporates power-factor correction, with the datasheet specifying PF ≥0.95 at 115VAC, ≥0.93 at 230VAC and ≥0.90 at 277VAC at full load.

For customers who want to get into the numbers, the ELG-300 series is available in 12V and 24V models, with rated output power up to 300W.
The ELG-300-12A is rated at 12V / 22A, while the ELG-300-24A is rated at 24V / 12.5A. The 24V model provides a rated output of 300W, while the 12V model is rated at 264W.
The driver measures approximately 246 × 77 × 39.5mm, giving you a substantial amount of LED power in a rugged metal enclosure.
