When your equipment needs a serious power boost without stepping up to an oversized power supply, the MEAN WELL RSP-320 is ready to deliver. This 320W single-output AC/DC power supply combines active power-factor correction, adjustable output voltage and a wide range of output options, giving you plenty of flexibility for demanding system designs.

With output options from 2.5V to 48V, a wide 88–264VAC input range, built-in protection and a compact 30mm-high design, the RSP-320 packs a lot of power into a surprisingly practical package.

Depending on the model, rated output power ranges from 150W up to around 321.6W, with rated currents reaching as high as 60A.

320W of power doesn't have to mean a huge enclosure.

The RSP-320 measures approximately 215 × 115 × 30mm, giving you a slim, low-profile design that's easy to integrate into equipment where space matters.

At just 30mm high, it's a practical choice when you need plenty of power but don't want your power supply taking over the whole enclosure.

Need to fine-tune the output? The RSP-320 features adjustable output voltage, with the available adjustment range depending on the selected model.

This gives you the flexibility to fine-tune the supply to better match your equipment rather than being restricted to one fixed output value.

When you're dealing with higher power, built-in protection becomes even more important.

The RSP-320 includes protection features designed to help safeguard both the power supply and your connected equipment:

  • Overload protection
  • Over-voltage protection
  • Over-temperature protection

Overload protection operates in hiccup mode and automatically recovers once the fault condition is removed.

Over-voltage protection shuts down the output and requires the unit to be re-powered, while over-temperature protection shuts down the output and automatically recovers once the temperature returns to a suitable level.

The RSP-320 is designed to operate across an ambient temperature range of -30°C to +70°C, with load derating required depending on operating conditions.

It also supports 20–90% RH non-condensing operating humidity, while the specified storage range extends from -40°C to +85°C.

For higher-altitude installations, the datasheet also specifies operation up to 5,000 metres, with additional temperature derating above 2,000 metres.

The RSP-320 has a specified minimum MTBF of 1,826.4K hours according to Telcordia SR-332 and 192.9K hours according to MIL-HDBK-217F at 25°C.

That's a power supply designed with long-term operation in mind.
