When your system needs more than 100W but you still want a clean DIN-rail installation, the MEAN WELL HDR-150 brings serious power to the HDR family. With up to 150W output, four voltage options from 12V to 48V and a slim 105mm-wide enclosure, it delivers a lot of power without turning your cabinet into a wall of hardware.
The HDR-150 keeps the familiar HDR approach: free-air convection cooling, adjustable DC output, universal input and built-in protection — all wrapped up in the ultra-slim step-shape format that makes the HDR family so easy to integrate.
Specifications At A Glance
The HDR-150 is available in four output-voltage options:
- 12V / 11.3A — 135.6W
- 15V / 9.5A — 142.5W
- 24V / 6.25A — 150W
- 48V / 3.2A — 153.6W
So although it sits in the 150W class, some configurations can deliver slightly more than 150W at 230VAC.
The HDR-150 packs its higher output into a surprisingly tidy 105 × 90 × 54.5mm enclosure.
That's a 6SU-wide DIN-rail footprint, designed for TS35/7.5 or TS35/15 mounting, giving you a straightforward way to add substantial DC power to a cabinet without resorting to a larger traditional power supply.
The HDR-150 provides adjustable output voltage on all four models, giving you useful flexibility when matching the supply to your equipment.
Typical adjustment ranges include:
- 12V model: 10.8–13.8V
- 15V model: 13.5–18V
- 24V model: 21.6–29V
- 48V model: 43.2–55.2V
The HDR-150 includes built-in protection against:
- Short circuit
- Overload
- Over-voltage
These protections are designed to help safeguard the power supply and connected equipment when operating conditions don't go according to plan.
Efficiency reaches up to 90.5%, with the 24V and 48V models achieving the highest typical efficiency in the series.
The HDR-150 also supports a universal 85–264VAC input, with 277VAC operational capability, making it suitable for a broad range of mains conditions.
The HDR-150 is designed around the same practical, low-maintenance philosophy as the rest of the HDR family.
With fanless cooling, no-load power consumption below 0.3W and a 3-year warranty, it is built to provide dependable power without adding unnecessary maintenance to the system.
