The MEAN WELL XDR-150E brings 150W of AC/DC power to an impressively slim industrial DIN-rail package. At just 30mm wide, it is designed to maximise valuable cabinet space while still delivering the power and features expected from a serious industrial power supply.

With a wide 85–264VAC input range, efficiency up to 91%, fanless free-air convection cooling and built-in protection, the XDR-150E is designed for reliable operation across a wide range of industrial environments. It also includes a DC OK relay contact, giving your control system a convenient way to monitor the power supply status.

Here's where the XDR-150E really stands out.

The enclosure is just 30mm wide, helping you squeeze substantial power into cabinets where space is at a premium.

It mounts directly onto standard TS35/7.5 or TS35/15 DIN rail, making installation straightforward while keeping the overall system neat and compact.

The XDR-150E uses free-air convection cooling, so there is no cooling fan to maintain.

That makes the design simple and well suited to industrial control cabinets where low maintenance and dependable operation are important.

The output voltage can be adjusted to help match the supply more closely to your application.

For example, the 24V model can be adjusted from 24V to 29V, with the available adjustment range depending on the model.

The XDR-150E includes comprehensive built-in protection to help safeguard both the power supply and connected equipment.

Protection includes:

  • Short circuit
  • Overload
  • Over-voltage
  • Over-temperature

The overload protection uses constant-current limiting and automatically recovers after the fault condition is removed, while over-voltage protection shuts down the output and requires the supply to be re-powered for recovery.

The XDR-150E reaches up to 91% efficiency, helping reduce wasted energy and heat within the cabinet.

It also has a very low no-load power consumption of less than 1W, supporting more energy-conscious system designs.

The XDR-150E is more than just a compact power source — it is designed with industrial control systems in mind.

A built-in DC OK relay contact provides a useful status signal for monitoring whether the power supply is operating normally. The relay contacts are rated up to 30VDC/1A or 30VAC/0.5A resistive load.

The series also supports OVC III under IEC/EN 61558-1/-2-16, helping make it suitable for demanding industrial installations.
