The MEAN WELL XDR-960E delivers up to 960W of dependable AC/DC power in a compact industrial DIN-rail package. Designed for demanding control and automation systems, it combines high power density with a universal 85–264VAC input, efficient power conversion and fanless cooling.

With 24V, 36V and 48V output options, adjustable output voltage and built-in protection, the XDR-960E is designed for serious industrial workloads where reliable, high-power DIN-rail performance is essential. It also features a DC OK relay and built-in parallel capability, allowing multiple units to work together when even greater system power is required.

The XDR-960E brings substantial power to the DIN rail, with 24V, 36V and 48V output options.

The 24V version is rated at 40A / 960W, while the 48V version delivers 20A / 960W. The 36V version provides 26.6A / 957.6W, giving you plenty of power for demanding industrial equipment.

Despite its 960W output capability, the XDR-960E keeps its footprint impressively compact.

The enclosure measures just 32mm wide × 125.2mm high × 125mm deep, making it a practical choice where cabinet space matters. It is designed for DIN-rail installation and fits TS35/7.5 or TS35/15 rails.

The XDR-960E uses free-air convection cooling, keeping things simple with no cooling fan required.

That means no moving fan assembly to maintain, while the power supply remains suited to industrial installations where reliable, low-maintenance operation is important.

The XDR-960E gives you useful control over the output voltage.

For example, the 24V model can be adjusted from 24–29VDC, helping you fine-tune the supply for the requirements of your installation.


Need even more power? The XDR-960E is designed to scale.

Its built-in droop-mode current sharing allows up to four units to be connected in parallel for higher output power. The datasheet specifies that the total output current should not exceed the rated current per unit × number of units × 0.9, with the output-voltage difference between parallel units kept below 0.1V.

This makes the XDR-960E particularly useful for higher-power industrial systems where a single DIN-rail supply may not provide enough capacity.


The universal 85–264VAC input makes the XDR-960E suitable for a broad range of mains systems, while its 254–370VDC input range adds further flexibility for industrial power architectures.

A built-in DC OK relay contact provides a convenient way to monitor power-supply status. The relay is rated up to 30VDC/1A or 30VAC/0.5A resistive load.
