More power. More flexibility. Built for reliable LED lighting.

When your LED installation needs serious power without sacrificing flexibility, the MEAN WELL ELG-240 is ready to deliver. With up to 240W of output power, dual-mode constant voltage and constant current operation, and a rugged fanless design, it’s built for demanding LED lighting applications.

With output options from 24V to 54V, flexible dimming and control options, IP65/IP67 protection and a wide operating temperature range, the ELG-240 gives you plenty of power while keeping your lighting system dependable in challenging environments.

Need plenty of headroom for your LED installation? The ELG-240 series delivers up to 240W, with models available in 24V, 36V, 42V, 48V and 54V versions.

Its dual-mode design allows it to operate in either constant current mode for direct LED driving or constant voltage mode, giving you flexibility when matching the driver to your LED system.

Depending on the model, the series covers output power from approximately 180W through 240W, giving you a choice of configurations for different LED loads.

Don't let the compact format fool you. The ELG-240 is designed to keep performing when conditions get demanding.

Its rugged metal housing, IP67/IP65 protection and fanless construction make it suitable for both indoor and outdoor installations. It can operate with a case temperature from -40°C to +90°C under free-air convection, helping it cope with challenging environments.

Want more control over your lighting? Selected ELG-240 versions offer 3-in-1 dimming, supporting:

  • 0–10V DC
  • 10V PWM
  • Resistance

Selected A/AB-Type versions also allow the output voltage and current to be adjusted using a built-in potentiometer, giving you another way to fine-tune the driver to your LED system.

The 3-in-1 dimming function also supports dim-to-off, giving you convenient control over the lighting output.

The ELG-240 keeps things efficient, reaching up to 93% efficiency in field applications.

And because there's no fan inside, there are no moving cooling parts to worry about. Heat is managed through the driver's rugged design and free-air convection.

The series also features built-in active power-factor correction, helping support efficient operation across its wide input range.

The ELG-240 can do more than simply turn the lights on.

Selected versions support DALI control, while Dxx-Type versions offer Smart Timer dimming. The D2 version combines built-in Smart Timer dimming with programmable functionality, giving lighting designers even more control over how the system operates.

Smart Timer technology can provide adaptive dimming profiles over up to 14 consecutive hours, making it particularly useful for applications where lighting levels need to change throughout the operating period.

LED installations are often expected to run for years, so reliability matters.

The ELG-240 has a typical life expectancy of more than 50,000 hours when operated under the specified case-temperature conditions, and comes with a 5-year warranty.
